The works to expand the passenger terminal at Cluj airport are starting!

Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport announces the start of construction works on the expansion of the departures passenger terminal on the North side.

• The terminal will be expanded by approximately 7.200 square meters.
• The aircraft parking platform will also be expanded by 9.000 square meters.
• There will be two boarding gates for external flights and one boarding gate for domestic flights.
• The security control will be carried out with the latest generation devices of the C3 standard type.

The project is co-financed from the European Fund for Regional Development through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program 2014-2020.

The total value of the project is 365.708.900,80 lei, of which the amount of co-financing by the European Union is 129.618.899 lei, and 19.824.066,83 lei are provided by the State Budget.
