(Video) The first Boeing 787-8 Oman Air was delivered

On 8 October 2015, Oman Air received the first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (A4O-SA). It is part of an order for 6 aircraft, which was placed in November 2011. A second Dreamliner will arrive in November 2015. Four more Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft will be delivered between 2016 and 2018.

The new aircraft will help the airline implement the development and expansion plan with new routes.

Since its entry into the operational service, October 2011, the aircraft family Boeing 787 Dreamliner contributed substantially to the inauguration of over 50 of new long-courier routes. Oman Air has announced it will introduce the new aircraft on flights to destinations in Saudi Arabia and Europe.

To date, 8 customers from Middle East have ordered 175 from Boeing 787 family aircraft, of which 35 has already been delivered. Boeing is supporting Oman Air to bring the new aircraft into operational service as soon as possible.
