Vietnam will lift restrictions on international flights from February 15. The frequency of flights will be restored to pre-pandemic levels. This was reported on Sunday, February 13, by the state newspaper Tuoi Tre, quoting the deputy director of the Vietnamese Civil Aviation Administration, Dinh Viet Son.

It is noted that the country's authorities have already informed their partners about this and only China has not yet agreed to resume trade flights with Vietnam. The state of Southeast Asia has gradually moved to open its borders. Since the beginning of the year, flights have been resumed experimentally in 15 markets. At the same time, Vietnam has relaxed covid restrictions for travelers.

Passengers on international flights do not have to do additional rapid tests for coronavirus on arrival, quarantine has been reduced from 7 to 3 days. During the holidays, you will need to take free PCR tests on the first and third day. Vietnam has started accepting not only vaccinated tourists, but also recovered with COVID-19, with a certificate valid for no more than 6 months. Tourists are only allowed to enter Vietnam with a tourist voucher from a tour operator.

We remind you that the Vietnamese authorities expect to fully open the borders for foreign nationals by April at the latest. Now travel is accepted by many provinces. However, in order to restore tourism in the country, additional permits are needed to receive foreign guests.
