Wizz Air allocated the fifth aircraft to the Iasi base!

Wizz Air, the fastest growing airline in Europe and the most environmentally sustainable globally, is pleased to announce that its base in Iasi welcomed its fifth aircraft on 29 October.

With this decision, the airline offers an impressive total of 24 destinations, connecting Iasi International Airport with cities all over Europe. Tickets are already available online at wizzair.com and through the mobile app.

The allocation of the new A321 NEO aircraft will allow the airline to increase frequency on the following routes: three flights per week to Liverpool and Berlin, five flights per week to Barcelona, ​​Dortmund and Bologna, as well as daily flights to Paris and Brussels.

The airline is also increasing the number of flights from seven to nine frequencies per week to Milan, thus offering more travel options to its customers.

In total, Wizz Air currently operates 22 low-cost routes from Iasi to 12 European countries, continuously investing in the development of the network. The airline connects Iasi with Brussels, Larnaca, Billund, Copenhagen, Basel, Paris, Dortmund, Memmingen, Tel-Aviv, Bologna, Catania, Milan, Rome, Turin, Venice, Eindhoven, Liverpool, London, Barcelona, ​​Madrid and operates successfully newly launched routes to Istanbul and Berlin.

Wizz Air remains dedicated to Iași, the Romanian market and the offer of excellent services, associated with low fares, for its passengers.

By allocating the fifth aircraft to the base, Wizz Air consolidates its position as the largest airline operating from Iasi, reaffirming its commitment to the airport and to its customers in Romania.
