The new routes will greatly increase Wizz Air's presence in Saudi Arabia, which will boost the growing tourism sector and contribute to the Vision 2030 program to triple the country's passenger traffic by 2030. This expansion alone will bring over one million additional travelers to Saudi Arabia next year.
Wizz Air has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Investment for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The MoU is an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism, aimed at improving the development of the Saudi Tourism Sector. It reflects a shared vision between the parties of the potential that Wizz Air could bring to the Kingdom to boost tourism demand, thereby making a significant contribution to Saudi Arabia's planned growth.
