Wizz Air Base London Luton: flights to Tel Aviv, Pristina and Kutaisi
Wizz Air announces 28 base, which will open at London Luton Airport!
Wizz Air announces today the opening, on 18 June 2017, of the 28 network base, which will be at the airport London Luton United Kingdom. It will be allocated an Airbus A320 aircraft. Wizz Air has started operating at this airport for 12 years ago, and the base that will open will be the first in the UK.
Establishing the base here will strengthen Wizz Air's operational presence in London Luton where it is already the second largest carrier and will increase the number of routes served from this airport to 42.

The opening will also represent an investment in the airport and in the region by creating 36 jobs within the company. The operations will contribute to the local economy and support jobs in the aviation, transport and tourism industries.
The three new WIZZ routes will connect London Luton with Tel Aviv in Israel, Pristine in Kosovo and Kutaisi in Georgia. Moreover, the last of the routes is the only direct link between Georgia and the United Kingdom. Frequencies on some of the most popular WIZZ routes will increase with the allocation of the new aircraft: Suceava will have five flights a week, Constanta four, and Iasi will operate daily flights.
