Wizz Air has canceled flights from/to Tel Aviv until further notice

Initial news: The low-cost airline Wizz Air reported on Saturday that its flights from Romania to Israel had been diverted and then cancelled, except for one in the morning, which managed to land in Tel Aviv. However, the passengers who were going to board the plane for the return flight refused to board.

"Wizz Air flight W6 3479 from Cluj-Napoca to Tel Aviv on October 7 was diverted to Larnaca, Cyprus, following the escalation of the conflict in Israel. The aircraft returned to Cluj-Napoca with the flight passengers. Later, the flight from Tel Aviv to Cluj-Napoca was cancelled", the representatives of the airline announced on Saturday.

And the planes on the Bucharest - Tel Aviv route did the same, except for the morning flight, which managed to land at its destination.

"Flight W6 3269 from Bucharest to Tel Aviv returned to Bucharest, and flight W6 3270 from Tel Aviv to Bucharest was later cancelled. The morning flight from Bucharest to Tel Aviv landed at the destination airport as usual, while the passengers on the return flight decided not to board the aircraft. All other Wizz Air flights to and from Tel Aviv will be canceled today", said the mentioned source.

"Wizz Air is closely monitoring the situation and informing its passengers of all schedule changes. Wizz Air apologizes for any inconvenience, but the safety and security of all passengers, crew and aircraft remains our top priority."
