In the summer season 2019, KLM will expand its network of routes and flights to the United States. Starting June 6, 2019, KLM will operate direct flights on the route Amsterdam - Las Vegas. The destination "Casino" will be honored with 3 weekly flights, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Initially, KLM will operate 2 direct flights between Amsterdam and Las Vegas on Thursday and Sunday. The 3 weekly flight will be introduced starting with the 2 July and will be every Tuesday.

Flights will be honored with aircraft of the type Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner KLM, which can carry up to 294 passengers. The aircraft are configured in 3 classes: 30 seats in the World Business Class, 45 seats in Economy Comfort and 219 seats in Economy Class.
In order to open this route, KLM had to adjust its operational schedule. Due to lack of slots at Schiphol-Amsterdam International Airport, the Dutch airline was forced to give up flights to Freetown and Monrovia. They will cease starting March 29 2019.
