Suspended flights to Syria

Due to the conflicts in Syria, several airlines have announced that they will suspend flights to Syrian destinations. Emirates will suspend the Dubai-Damascus flight with the possibility of being resumed after December 20, if the situation calms down.

In November, Emirates made 3 weekly flights, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, following the following schedule:

EgyptAir is the second airline to suspend operations to Syria on November 30. The Egyptian operator served two Syrian destinations - Aleppo and Damascus - according to the following schedule:

Also today, Reuters has announced that Damascus International Airport has stopped working for several hours because of conflicts that have taken place on the connecting road between the airport and the city of Damascus. Traffic resumed at the airport, but conflicts still persist.
