Wizz Air, the fastest growing airline in Europe, is adding two new routes from Bucharest and Brasov to Budapest to its network. Tickets are available now on wizzair.com or through the airline's mobile app, with fares starting at 79 RON.
This strategic expansion aims to offer Romanian travelers convenient and affordable flight options, further strengthening Wizz Air's commitment to its passengers. Starting in June, Wizz Air will operate daily flights from Bucharest to Budapest, ensuring passengers seamless connectivity between these two dynamic cities.
From June 17, there will be daily flights on the route Bucharest - Budapest - Bucharest, according to the schedule below:
- LUNI – București 16:40-17:25 Budapesta / Budapesta 13:45-16:05 București
- MARTI – București 11:45-12:30 Budapesta / Budapesta 08:50-11:10 București
- MIERCURI – București 16:10-16:55 Budapesta / Budapesta 13:15-15:35 București
- JOI – București 11:45-12:30 Budapesta / Budapesta 08:50-11:10 București
- VINERI – București 16:40-17:25 Budapesta / Budapesta 13:45-16:05 București
- SAMBATA – București 11:45-12:30 Budapesta / Budapesta 08:50-11:10 București
- DUMINICA – București 12:20-13:05 Budapesta / Budapesta 09:25-11:45 București
From June 18, 2024, Wizz Air will operate three weekly flights on the Brașov - Budapest route, according to the schedule:
- TUESDAY, THURSDAY, SATURDAY – Brașov 08:05-08:15 Budapest / Budapest 05:15-07:30 Brașov
In addition, travelers from Brasov can enjoy flights to Budapest three times a week, operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Budapest, often referred to as the 'Pearl of the Danube', captivates visitors with its rich history, stunning architecture and vibrant cultural scene. Famous for iconic sights such as Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion and the Parliament Building, Budapest offers a delightful blend of tradition and modernity.
Travelers can indulge in the city's thermal baths, explore its charming streets, and savor the various culinary delights that Hungary's capital has to offer. At the same time, Wizz Air is launching a route from Bucharest to Salzburg on April 1, and on June 20, a new route to Leipzig.
