On October 15, the Boeing base in Washington State, the newest 787 Dreamliner Qantas was presented, painted in an anniversary livery. This year, on 16 November 2019, Qantas will turn 99 years old and the journey will continue to 100 years.

Qantas is one of the top 5 the oldest airlines in the world, which fly today under the name since its inception. According to this criterion, KLM is the oldest airline, which still fly today under the name of the foundation.

Returning to Qantas, this year will be 99 years old, and in 2020 the centennial champagne will unfold. To celebrate the 100 years since its inception, Qantas has prepared a series of special events.

Livery "100 years" on an 787 Dreamliner Qantas

The new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, VH-ZNJ, is called "Longreach", a city in the state of Queensland, Australia. And not every city, but one in which Qantas was based, from 1921.

The 10th Dreamliner Qantas will operate a series of test flights before being delivered in November 2019. In addition to the anniversary livery, the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner Qantas will operate a special flight. We are talking about the second endurance flight, from the Qantas experiment, which will be operated non-stop on the London - Sydney route. At the same time, it will replicate the delivery flight of the first Boeing 747-400, 30 years ago.

We have so many beautiful news from Qantas and it has not yet entered the centenary year!
