Spain has increased airport taxes overnight

Spain has decided to increase airport charges for every passenger on all airports in the Spanish territory. The decision was published on 30 June 2012 in "Boletin Oficial del Estado" and entered into force from 1 July 2012. Blue Air is required to collect airport tax differences from passengers traveling from July 2 to 2012 and who purchased their tickets by July 1 2012.

The differences of taxes that will have to be paid at the airport, during the check-in and boarding formalities, are:
- Madrid: 9.5 Euro
- Barcelona: 9 Euro
- Malaga: 2 Euro
- Valencia: 2 Euro
Blue Air apologizes for the inconvenience and notes that this tax increase has not been announced in advance!
