Thai Airways, the Thai national operator, came into possession of the first Airbus A380 from the fleet. Thai Airways International has become A380's newest airline in the world, being the most eco-efficient type of aircraft on the market right now. Thai has ordered six such aircraft, all equipped with engines Rolls-Royce Trent 900.

The aircraft are configured in 3 classes: 12 seats at First Class, 60 seats / bed at Royal Silk Class and 435 seats at Economy. All are equipped with the latest technologies, and passengers can benefit from a vast entertainment program.

Thai will introduce the aircraft Airbus A380 on Bangkok - Hong Kong and Bangkok - Singapore routes from October 2012. As other A380 will receive, Thai will open routes to Frankfurt at the end of 2012 and to Paris at the beginning of 2013.

Airbus A380 has a range of up to 15 700 Km, so Thai Airways can operate routes from Bangkok to any destination in Europe or the United States.
