From July 24, Air Connect flies from Baneasa

Those who will travel from and to Bucharest starting on July 24, 2023 will take off and land at Bucharest Băneasa International Airport. This move will not result in any changes to the company's flight schedule.

Currently, Air Connect operates flights from Bucharest to Baia Mare, Budapest, Sibiu, Suceava, Târgu Mureș; from Constanța to Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara, and in code-share with Aerotailia from Bucharest and Bacău to Rome.

The company is considering other domestic connections as the company's fleet grows. AirConnect plane tickets can be purchased from the company's website, www.air-connect.com, from the application available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store, or through travel agencies.

On this occasion, Tudor Constantinescu, Director General of Air Connect, said:
"We are particularly pleased to be able to offer AirConnect passengers the opportunity to travel from the most accessible airport in Bucharest, with a newly renovated terminal and facilities that will significantly reduce the time spent on all flight-related formalities. Our passengers will be just a few minutes from the center of the capital, giving them more time for business meetings or personal activities. "

"It is gratifying that the Baneasa - Aurel Vlaicu airport attracts more and more airlines to start operating here, and we congratulate AirConnect for the decision taken. The services that this airport offers, the short flows in the terminal and the special architecture, all this makes us believe that AirConnect passengers will feel much more comfortable here than at large airports" said Sorin-Radu Păun, General Manager of CN Aeroporturi Bucharest.
