The second Airbus A330-200 Air Serbia aircraft, which is to replace the only aircraft of the same type in the airline's fleet, is due to enter operational service on 26 April. The aircraft will operate flights on the route Belgrade - New York. Registered YU-ARB, the 330-year-old aircraft will replace the Airbus A24 (YU-ARA), which will operate the last scheduled flight for the Belgrade airline on April XNUMX.
The new Airbus A330 Air Serbia has Rolls Royce engines and boasts a new Business class that has three additional seats in the cabin, with a total of 21 seats. Despite the fact that the aircraft was previously operated by Aeroflot, the new cockpit will most closely resemble that of Aer Lingus. In economy class, the aircraft will have 237 seats. As a result, the plane will have four more seats compared to the first Airbus A300 (YU-ARA).

Passengers will have access to personal in-flight entertainment screens with movies, TV shows and music on request. The menu will also remain unchanged, with business class passengers having access to à la carte meals, personal hygiene kits and sleeping clothes, while economy class passengers will still be served two free meals and access. to the airline's Sky Au Pairs service - the cabin crew is specially trained to take care of children throughout the flight.
Air Serbia currently operates three weekly rotations between Belgrade and New York. The frequency of flights will increase to four weekly flights from the end of May and five weekly flights from mid-June. A total of 121 flights will be operated between the two cities in each direction this summer.
Starting June 3, the Serbian carrier will move from New York JFK Terminal 4 to Terminal 1, which is used exclusively for international flights, along with Lufthansa, Air France, Korean Air and Japan Airlines. JFK Terminal 1 is used by SkyTeam and Star Alliance member carriers, which include companies such as Alitalia, Aeroflot, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Turkish Airlines.
