The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs the Romanian citizens who are, transit or want to travel to Italy that, during the day of October 11, 2021, several trade unions will organize a general strike. It will last 24 hours and will affect public and private services in the field of transport, the activity of several public institutions, schools and the state administration.
Disruptions to rail, air, sea and local transport are expected. Regarding regional and local transport, essential services are provided between 07: 00-10: 00 and 18: 00-21: 00, respectively. Demonstrations are also being announced in major Italian cities.
