American Airlines has resumed commercial flights with Boeing 737 MAX aircraft
On December 29, 2020, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 American Airlines aircraft operated flight AA718, on the route Miami - New York. This is the first flight with a 737 MAX after they were recorded on the ground, in March 2019.

In November, The FAA has authorized the return of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to operational service, but not before all necessary changes and upgrades have been made.
