ASUS has announced Fonepad 7 (FE375CG): 7 inch tablet with two SIM slots and 3G phone features. It is powered by the latest Intel Atom Z3560 quad-core processor on 64 bits, tuned to the 1.83GHz frequency. The new model is lighter and narrower than its predecessor, and the narrow-frame design gives the user a wider viewing area, with the screen occupying 70% of the front surface.
A powerful tablet with 3G features
ASUS Fonepad 7 (FE375CG) features the Intel Atom Z3560 processor on 64 bits, tuned to the 1.83GHz frequency, which offers power, performance, efficiency, and up to 10.5 hours of running movies or web browsing. The tablet offers up to 20 hours of autonomy for 3G calls.
Fonepad 7 benefits from an IPS screen with a diagonal of 7 inches and a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. The two front speakers deliver ample sound, while the 5 Megapixel main camera and the 2 Megapixel front camera, along with PixelMaster technology, generate high-quality images and videos.
The Fonepad 7 tablet is available in variants with 8GB or 16GB storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 64GB. With built-in 3G connectivity and two SIM slots, the tablet delivers clear calls, whether you use your personal or local SIM when traveling abroad.
The intuitive ASUS ZenUI interface
Fonepad 7 (FE375CG) runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and has the ASUS ZenUI graphical interface. The latter integrates more than 200 software enhancements compared to the old version, with a modern visual design with "flat" icons, vivid, customizable graphic themes that match the device, new ringing / notification sounds and a airy format for presenting information. ASUS ZenUI also includes two new features - What's Next and Do It Later - designed for users who face a lot of information on a daily basis, allowing them to be more productive.
Portable design
The ASUS Fonepad 7 (FE375CG) tablet has a narrow profile that allows one-handed grip, measuring only 10.9 cm wide and 9.83 mm thick. The tablet weighs only 299 grams and is available in black, white, gold and red.
An optional ASUS View Folio Cover protects the Fonepad model from dust and scratches. It closes magnetically and is made of soft microfiber on the inside and polyurethane on the outside. A small window allows you to consult the time, notifications and incoming calls without opening the cover. The View Folio Cover can be folded to support the tablet at an ideal angle for watching movies or for text input.
