Belavia Airlines wants 3 Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft

Belavia Airlines, the Belarusian air operator, has signed an agreement with Boeing for 3 Next Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It is worth 272 million dollars, calculated at the list price.

The new planes will be able to transport up to 189 passengers in a single Economy class. The aircraft will be used on existing charter flights, including to Tenerife, the Canary Islands and Dubai. The efficiency of the new aircraft will greatly reduce the operational costs on these flights.

Boeing 737-800 is the best-selling plane in the family NEXT Next Generation, being equipped with the latest and most efficient technologies. Belavia Airlines has its main base at Minsk National Airport and operates a fleet of 6 737-500 and 7 737-300. Belavia Airlines flies to 40 from destinations in Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Middle East.
