Blue Air launched its flights to Greece at the end of April and now operates 17 weekly flights to 5 Greek destinations during the 2021 Summer Schedule. Blue Air flies from Bucharest to Athens, Heraklion, Rhodes, Mykonos and Zakynthos and from Bacau. in Athens with ticket prices starting at 19,99 euros / segment, taxes and a free change included.

As part of its positioning strategy as the first ultra-low-cost air transport option for Romanians, Blue Air focuses on expanding its network and providing efficient connections with destinations of major interest for both the leisure segment and the business at the most affordable travel rates.

For the first time in 16 years of operation, Blue Air has launched a daily direct service from Bucharest to Athens and two flights a week from Bacau to Athens, allocating a significant part of its leisure capacity from Bucharest to Greece this summer the introduction of two services per week to four Greek islands in the top of tourist preferences.

Blue Air operates 17 direct weekly flights between Romania and Greece during the 2021 Summer Schedule, with the following frequencies:

  • Bucharest - Athens: 7 flights / week
  • Bacau - Athens: 2 flights / week
  • Bucharest - Heraklion: 2 flights / week
  • Bucharest - Rhodes: 2 flights / week
  • Bucharest - Mykonos: 2 flights / week
  • Bucharest - Zakynthos: 2 flights / week

Blue Air connects Greece with all regions in Romania through 5 connecting flights between Athens and 5 key cities in Romania (via Bucharest Otopeni): Cluj Napoca, Iasi, Oradea, Suceava, Timisoara.
