Starting from March 28 2024, the airline company Swiss International Air Lines will connect the city of Cluj-Napoca with the city of Zurich, the tourist capital of Switzerland. The flights will be operated with 3 weekly frequencies, on the days of Monday, Thursday and Sunday, and tickets can be booked starting from September 13, 2023, on the airline's website www.swiss.com.
The new destination will also provide connecting flights to intercontinental destinations, such as:
- every Monday and Sunday, from Cluj to Zurich and from there on, to: New York (Newark Airport), Boston, São Paulo and Bangkok;
- every Thursday, from Cluj to Zurich and from there on to: New York (JFK Airport), Miami, Dubai, Montreal, Boston, Shanghai, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
