Disneyland Paris will reopen on June 17
Disneyland Paris, one of the the largest amusement parks in the world, announced that it will reopen its doors on June 17, and four days later the New York Hotel - The Art of Marvel will open. The Paris amusement park closed on October 30, 2020 due to health restrictions to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The opening will be carried out with comprehensive health and safety measures”. Also, for visitors who book their visit in advance, the current conditions will offer the option of package flexibility and will include the possibility to cancel and change tickets without further charges, at any time, up to seven days before the arrival date, as well as the possibility to pay in installments without taxes.
Disneyland Paris will reopen on June 17.
Both the two parks that make up the complex and the hotels will be reopened. In addition, the Art of Marvel Hotel will open on June 21, and reservations can be made starting May 18. This 4-star unit - designed as a New York art gallery - pays homage to the home of many Marvel superheroes and their artists.
"I dreamed of this moment," says Natacha Rafalski, president of Disneyland Paris. She also stressed that the reopening will be for all the attractions of the park, and visitors will have "many other surprises". Sanitary restrictions in France - closure of public places, bars and restaurants, gyms - will be picked up on May 19.
The government is confident that speeding up the vaccination campaign and improving the numbers, as the number of people hospitalized and the number of deaths due to coronavirus continue to fall, will allow this reopening to be definitive and progressive.
