Starting with 1 July 2015, Zanzibar enter the operational map of the airline Qatar Airways. It will be the 3 destination in Tanzania, after Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro.
By introducing flights to Zanzibar, Qatar Airways also makes changes to its flights Doha - Kilimanjaro, which are currently operated via Dar es Salaam. Starting with 1 July 2015, Qatar Airways will operate direct flights from Doha to Kilimanjaro and continue with flights to Zanzibar and then Doha.

QR1355: DOH 08:50 - 14:20 JRO 15:20 - 16:20 ZNZ 17:20 - 22:35 DOH - on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Ruta Doha - Kilimanjaro - Zanzibar - Doha will be honored with Airbus A320 aircraft, these being configured in 2 classes: 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class.
