England and Scotland are required to present the Covid-19 test upon arrival

From Tuesday, 7 December 2021, all persons (including those vaccinated with both doses) who intend to travel to England and Scotland, must present the NEGATIVE certificate of a Covid-19 test upon arrival (PCR or antigen / lateral flow type) performed no later than 48 hours before boarding.

Children under the age of 12 on arrival in England) and those under the age of 11 on arrival in Scotland are excluded.

We remind you that, as of November 30, 2021, the British authorities have changed the conditions of travel. Thus, all persons (both vaccinated and unvaccinated) arriving in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) must additionally perform a PCR test on the second day of arrival and self-isolate at home until the test result is received.

If the test is positive, the person will need to continue self-isolation for a period of 10 days.

Please note that for unvaccinated persons, in addition to those mentioned above, the following conditions remain valid upon entry into the United Kingdom:

  • to book and pay in advance for 2 more Covid tests (for the 2nd day on the 8th day of arrival);
  • to perform 10 days of self-isolation at the home address / address declared on arrival.

CAREFUL! People who have "gone through illness" or who have been in the UK for less than 10 days are not exempt from these rules.
