Germany has updated the list of risk areas in Romania. Neamț enters, Argeș leaves.

Following the clarifications of September 10, 2020, regarding the modification of the entry conditions on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that the German authorities have updated the list of "risk areas" in Romania. of 16 September 2020.

As a result of this update, Neamț and Caraș-Severin counties were included in the risk category, while Argeș and Dâmbovița counties were removed from the list.

At this time, taking into account these latest decisions of the German authorities, along with Bucharest, 11 counties in Romania are on the list of “risk areas”: Bacău, Bihor, Brăila, Brașov, Caraș-Severin, Iași, Ilfov, Neamț, Prahova, Vaslui, Vâlcea.

According to the information sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously, the counties withdrawn from the list so far are the following: Argeș (at 16.09), Buzău (at 09.09), Dâmbovița (at 16.09), Galați (at 09.09), Gorj (at 02.09), Ialomița (at 20.08), Mehedinți (at 20.08), Neamț (at 02.09, but reintroduced at 16.09 ), Timiș (on 20.08) and Vrancea (on 09.09).
