The RYANAIR strike affects more than 3000 flights and about 600 passengers. Spain has the most flights affected!
According to Mabrian's analysis (Travel Intelligence for Smart Destinations), Ryanair cabin crew strike from five European countries endangers the journeys of almost 600000 passengers. More than 3 flights from Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal will be affected in just the first three days strike (June 24, 25, 26).
Spain will be the most affected destination, with around 1500 flights scheduled during the strike. Palma de Mallorca Airport will be the most affected, with 267 flights in those three days.
Between June 24 and 26, Ryanair has 1.572 flights scheduled in Spain with a capacity of 298.624 seats. It is followed, by far, by Italy, with 635 scheduled flights and 120.909 seats, although the Italian crews will strike only one day, on June 25.
Of all the airports where RYANAIR flies, of the five countries, Palma de Mallorca is the most affected, with 267 flights in those three days. It is estimated that approximately 51 passengers will be affected. It is followed by the Belgian airport Charleroi Brussels, with 000 flights and 205 passengers.
We remind you that on June 13, the unions USO and Sitcpla announced the strike of cabin crews Ryanair in Spain for June 24, 25, 26 and 30 and July 1 and 2, warning that a similar action has been proposed in France, Italy, Portugal and Belgium. The protest is common: poor management, lack of respect for national labor law and poor working conditions.
