Karpaten Turism launches, for the first time, Bucharest - Salzburg charter for winter sports enthusiasts
Karpaten Turism launches, for the first time in Romania, a charter Bucharest - Salzburg, between December 26, 2021 - March 26, 2022, with the support of the Austrian National Tourist Office. Winter sports enthusiasts have at their disposal offers for tourist packages with all services included: flight, transfers, accommodation and meals.
The price of a package starts from 499 Euro per person. The flights will be operated in collaboration with TAROM, weekly, and the duration of a flight is approximately two hours. Tourists benefit from free transport of the ski equipment, and the transfer from the airport to the hotel is included in the package.
"In winter, Austria is the favorite destination of Romanians passionate about skiing and snowboarding. After the mountain resorts in Austria were completely closed last year, the desire of tourists to spend their holidays here is even greater this year. For this reason, we tried to come to the aid of tourists who want to travel safely and we decided to organize these charter flights to Austria to save them from a long journey by car and the transit of several countries. In fact, the charters to ski destinations are a premiere this year, before the pandemic, tourist packages are mainly based on scheduled flights.", says Alexandru Mărginean, General Manager of Karpaten Turism.
The charter lands in Salzburg, which is in the immediate vicinity of Ski amade, the largest ski association in Austria, with 760 km of slopes in 5 regions: Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming / Dachstein, Gastein, Gastein, Hochkönig, Grossarltal.
You can also reach other well-known ski regions, such as Zell am See / Kaprun or Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Many of the ski resorts on offer in Karpaten Turism are in the Zell am See / Kaprun area, a perfect destination for both families with children and free-riders. Tourists arriving here will have spectacular views of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, Schmittenhöhe Mountain and Lake Zeller, as well as easy access to a 138 km ski area.
