Despite the operational disruptions of February 2018, due to severe weather conditions, KLM reported an increase of 12% of the number of passengers over the same period last year. At the same time, the degree of loading of aircraft increased by 1.8%.

Transavia, the low-cost subsidiary of KLM, also reported a significant increase in passenger traffic, which also led to an increase in aircraft loading.

We remind you that the Dutch carrier reported 32.7 million passengers carried in 2017, a new record for KLM.

The KLM group, which also includes Transavia, carried a total of 41.6 million passengers, exceeding the target of 40 million. 2017, a "turbulent" year for KLM!
