Measures in force upon arrival in Romania from Italy, Malta or San Marino
According to Decision no. 51 of 02.11.2020 of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, starting with November 3, 2020, Italy , Malta and San Marino are included in the list of countries with a high epidemiological risk.
Therefore, for people arriving from Italy, Malta or San Marino in Romania the following rules apply:
- People who stay in Romania for a maximum of 3 days (72 hours) will not be quarantined if they have a negative test for Sars-CoV-2, taken no more than 48 hours before arrival in the country.
- People who stay for a longer period in Romania, enter quarantine (at home / declared address) for a period of 14 days, but have the possibility to leave quarantine on the 10th day, if they perform a test for Sars -CoV-2 on day 8, with a negative result and no specific symptoms Covid19.
Direct commercial flights between Romania and Italy DO NOT suspend.
