More than 34 flights will be operated from / to Croatia in the 000 summer season
Based on information gathered from Croatian airports, the Croatian National Tourism Council has revealed that the country will be connected to other destinations around the world via more than 34 flights.
In a statement issued on May 4, the director of the Croatian National Tourism Office, Kristjan Staničić, said that in the last two years marked by COVID-19 there has been a significant decrease in air traffic and therefore tourist travel.
"This year, the recovery of air traffic has continued successfully. We are witnessing a significant increase in the number of flights. Thus, over 460 air routes with over 34 rotations will be operated to our country during the summer, which is almost equal to the number of flights and rotations in 000 ", he said.
According to these airports, the highest number of rotations is generally expected in Zagreb and Split with around 10 rotations. The largest increase in the number of rotations is expected in Zadar (up 000%) and Rijeka (+ 63%).
"Also, during the summer season, Croatia will be connected to 131 foreign cities, 3 fewer than in 2019. Most connections will come to destinations in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and the Netherlands." is stated in the statement issued by the National Tourism Council of Croatia.
This summer, 66 airlines will operate routes between Croatia and international destinations. On the other hand, the airlines that anticipate more flights are Ryanair, Croatia Airlines, EasyJet, Lufthansa and Eurowings.
Flights from Romania to Croatia
We remind you that the airline Croatia Airlines will operate flights on the route Split - Bucharest, starting June 10, 2022. RYANAIR will fly from Bucharest to Zadar on June 4. From June 23, Blue Air will fly from Bucharest to Split. From June 28, Blue Air will fly from Bucharest to Dubrovnik.
In addition to the frequent flights announced so far, there will certainly be charter flights. From June 18, Air Connect will fly from Bucharest to Dubrovnik on behalf of the Karpaten travel agency.
