Possible Turkish Airlines routes: Iasi – Istanbul and Timisoara – Istanbul!

In a Turkish Airlines presentation, 28 destinations appeared as part of the future expansion plan, and among them we see Iasi and Timisoara. It is not excluded that in the near future, Turkish Airlines will fly to these airports in Romania, in addition to the flights already operated from Bucharest, Constanța and Cluj.

Future destinations presented by Turkish Airlines:

America: Orlando, Detroit, Denver, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago;
Europe: Newcastle, Bergen, Krakow, Nantes, La Coruna, Palermo, Makhachkala, Iasi, Timisoara, Lankaran;
Far East and Asia: Sydney, Phnom Penh, Atyrau, Sialkot, Penang, Aktobe;
Middle East: Abha, Salalah;
Africa: Aswan, Hargeisa, Port Sudan, Brazzaville, Monrovia.

Turkey is one of the favorite countries of Romanians, and Istanbul is one of the most sought after destinations for city breaks. At the same time, let's not forget that Antalya is the top destination preferred by Romanians for summer vacations.

At the moment, Turkish Airlines is one of the largest airlines in the world and also has the largest operational network. It flies to 287 international destinations in 129 countries. Of these, 119 are European destinations, including the three Romanian destinations.

The Turkish Airlines fleet consists of more than 380 aircraft, of which 15 are 787-9 Dreamliner, 33 are Boeing 777-300ER family and 32 are Boeing 737 MAX family, 11 x A350-900; 35 x A321neo. According to the development plan in the coming years, Turkish Airlines is aiming for a fleet of 550 aircraft.
