Qantas announces direct flights on the route Perth - Rome, from June 22, 2022!
Qantas will rekindle its love affair with Rome, adding direct flights from Australia to the Eternal City in the middle of next year. The Perth - Rome segment will be an extension of the Sydney - Perth route. It will be a seasonal service operated three times a week by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
According to the booking system, the route will be honored between June 22, 2022 and October 6, 2022. The duration of the flight Perth - Rome will be approximately 16 hours. Prices for the new flights Sydney - Perth - Rome start at 1785 USD round trip. The announcement comes after Australia confirmed that it will open its international borders on February 2, 2022.
Qantas will fly to Rome's Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino International Airport and will partner with other airlines to 16 destinations in Europe, including Athens, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Nice, Madrid and Paris, and 15 destinations in Italy. including Milan and Venice.
