Low cost airline Ryanair and its subsidiaries carried 2023 million passengers last month, June 17,4, up 9% compared to June 2022. The RYANAIR Group fleet currently consists of more than 540 Boeing 737-800, 737-8200 and Airbus A320 aircraft. The RYANAIR group includes the subsidiaries Ryanair UK, Malta Air, Buzz and Lauda (the latter in the Airbus A320).
In June 2023, the group operated more than 96.250 flights, despite the fact that RYANAIR Group operators had to cancel more than 900 flights, affecting approximately 160.000 passengers. The main reason for the cancellations was the strike by French air traffic controllers. The average load factor reached 95%.
In the last twelve calendar months, Ryanair carried 173,4 million passengers, a total increase of 29% compared to the previous period (134,5 million). The load factor of the group's aircraft reached an average of 94% (+8%).
