The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs Romanian citizens who are in, transiting or intending to travel to the Kingdom of Belgium that, between 29-30 July 2023, there will be a strike by the pilots of the Ryanair subsidiary in the Kingdom of Belgium. There will be disruptions to the flights of this company, including destinations in Romania. Romanian citizens who intend to travel during this period using the services of the Ryanair company, to/from the Republic of Belgium, are requested to follow Charleroi airport website and/or Ryanair to ensure that their flight has not been cancelled.
Romanian citizens can request consular assistance at the telephone numbers of the Romanian Embassy in Brussels: +32 (0) 2 347 5338, +32 (0) 2 344 1658, +32 (0)2 343 69 35, calls being forwarded to the Contact and Support of Romanian Citizens Abroad (CCSCRS) and taken over by Call Center operators on a permanent basis.

In this case, if you have canceled or delayed flights, you can request financial compensation of up to 600 euros, according to the European law of the rights of air passengers.
