During this period, the works on the new T4 at the Iași International Airport are being received, and the first flight will take place in 2024.

The work done at the new Terminal at Iasi International Airport is fast approaching the end, says the airport management. Thus, soon, Iași will have the second largest terminal in Romania, after the one in Bucharest. The new terminal has an area of ​​over 31 thousand square meters, three levels and a processing capacity of 3,5 million passengers per year.

The first race will take place in May 2024, to Stuttgart, announced Costel Alexe, the president of the Iasi County Council. 

"Our county now has the second largest airport in the country, with a new terminal of more than 31.000 square meters, 13 times larger than the current T3 terminal, on three levels, with seven boarding gates, three of which are with airbridge- uri, with state-of-the-art equipment, with a 600-space parking lot and 13 electric vehicle charging stations and a photovoltaic park spread over one hectare", added Costel Alexe.
