Pentecost weather: torrential rains across the country! A yellow rain code has been issued for all of Romania!

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a yellow rain code warning for the whole of Romania, valid from today, from 14:00, until Sunday at 22:00. Pentecost vacation there will be torrential rains all over the country.

Until Sunday, it will rain significantly in the south of the country and in the mountains, and there will be manifestations of atmospheric instability in some places.

In Moldova, Transylvania, Maramureș and locally in Crișana and Banat, especially during the afternoons, there will be periods of accentuated atmospheric instability, which will materialize in torrential downpours, accompanied by electrical discharges, wind intensifications and in some places storms and hail. , details the NMA, quoted by euronews.ro. 

In short periods of time or by accumulation, the quantities of water will be between 20 and 30 liters / sqm, while in small areas, such as in hilly and mountainous areas or in the southern extremity of the country, they will be between 40 and 60 liters / sqm.
