Following the publication of the report by the Bureau of Investigations and Analyzes (BEA) identifying the recurring incidents on Air France flights, the newspaper La Tribune reports another recent case. Two Air France pilots fought in the cockpit of an Airbus A320 flying from Geneva to Paris. The incident took place in June of this year.

According to a report, it seems that the said conflict started from the fact that the First Officer (the co-pilot) would have refused to carry out an order of the commander related to a necessary procedure during the climb, after take-off. Each driver has his own version, like one slapped, the other punched and so on.

What is certain is that the two insulted each other and had an exchange of wrinkling their shirt collars, which alerted the other crew members, who also entered the cockpit to separate the two belligerents. One of the cabin crew members then remained in the cockpit for the remainder of the flight as a protective and preventative measure.

The incident reached the offices of Air France, but company officials insisted that the flight was not endangered. What's more, the two pilots were suspended from flying until the company's management applies a series of sanctions against them.
