United Airlines, one of the largest airlines in the world, has placed the largest order in history - 100 Boeing 737-9 MAX and 50 Boeing 737-900ER Next Generation units. The value of the agreement is 14.7 billion, at list price.

United Airlines is the main customer in North America for the launch of the new 737 Max. This new type of aircraft has tightened orders for 1200 units from 18 customers. Taking all 737 variants into consideration, orders for this family amount to over 10 000 units.

United Airlines 737-900ER and 737 MAX 9 aircraft can accommodate up to 180 passengers and are equipped with the new Boeing Sky Interior. The stylish interior has modern lines, a spacious cabin and LED lighting, which offers more color options.

United Airlines and United Express operate in the media 5,605 flights a day, from 375 airports, on six continents. In 2011, United AirLines has operated more than two million flights and has carried over 142 millions of passengers, more than any other airline in the world.
