(VIDEO) Iaşi - Paris with Blue Air, the inaugural flight
On October 26, 2015, Blue Air wrote history in Iasi. He inaugurated the route Iasi - Paris, a destination awaited for a very long time, by some maybe even for decades. Before taking off the first flight on this route, a short press conference took place at which they spoke: Tudor CONSTANTINESCU, commercial director of Blue Air, Marius BODEA, president of the Board of the Iasi International Airport and Alain RAMETTE, director of the French Institute. The event took place in the new T3 Terminal of the Iasi International Airport, which was inaugurated on 17 October 2015.
Route Iasi - Paris started right, even above expectations. About 140 passengers boarded the plane Boeing 737-700 (YR-BMA) to Paris, which meant a loading grade of over 95%.
To begin with, the route will be honored with 2 weekly flights, following the following schedule:
OB605: IASI 10: 00 - 12: 50 PARIS Monday, Friday
OB606: PARIS 13: 00 - 17: 00 IAI Monday, Friday

At the same time, I flew for the second time route Bucharest - Iaşi - Bucharest, but this time on the official flight. There were 49 passengers on the Bucharest - Iasi flight, and 44 passengers on the return flight.
As we announced last time, Blue Air opened base in Iasi and began operating flights to London (October 25), Paris (October 26) and Rome (the inaugural flight was today, October 27), but also on the route Bucharest - Iasi and back. From 2016, Blue Air will open 3 more routes departing from Iasi: Barcelona, Brussels and Cologne. We wish them clear skies!
