Bankruptcy of VLM Airlines (SHS Antwerp Aviation)

VLM Airlines was resurrected by SHS Antwerp Aviation, part of the Dutch investment group SHS Aviation, after announcing its bankruptcy in 2016. On October 30, 2017, the Belgian carrier had resumed flights on the route London City - Antwerp.

Antwerp airport officials regret the failure of VLM Airlines and the fact that several major routes will no longer be honored. But they announced that they have already contacted other airlines.
