We will have more relaxed measures for Christmas and New Year
According to the statements made by Raed Arafat and Decision no. 112, which was approved by CNSU on December 7, Romania will have more relaxed measures for Christmas and New Year. Those who want to travel to Romania, during the winter holidays, must respect the new rules for applying the quarantine measure. What is certain is that those vaccinated / those who have passed through the disease will be exempted from quarantine if they travel from EU countries, the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation.
Internally in Romania, the situation will be more relaxed. The nocturnal lockdown for unvaccinated people is eliminated and the outdoor mask is removed. At the same time, it is proposed that Christmas and New Year should no longer be a limitation of the program.
It is proposed that between 24.12.2021-25.12.2021 and 31.12.2021- 01.01.2022, respectively, the activity of economic operators carrying out activities of preparation, marketing and consumption of food and / or alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, such as restaurants and cafes, as well as on terraces, to be allowed without program restrictions and with participation up to 50% of the maximum space capacity only of persons who are vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus and for whom 10 days have elapsed since the completion of the complete vaccination schedule, which is in the period from the 15th to the 180th day day after confirmation of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, ie people who test negative for an RT-PCR test for SARSCoV-2 virus infection not older than 72 hours or a rapid antigen test for SARSCoV-2 virus infection 48 not older than XNUMX hours.
Specific events dedicated to marking the transition to the new year can be organized and held outdoors without restrictions
It is proposed that specific events dedicated to marking the transition to the new year can be organized and held outdoors without being limited to a certain time interval, to a certain number of participants or to the fulfillment of certain conditions by them, but with strict observance of to the organizers of the sanitary protection measures aiming at the wearing of the protective mask and of the other measures to diminish the epidemiological risk.
It is proposed that air transport continue to be carried out in compliance with measures and restrictions on the hygiene and disinfection of common areas, equipment, means of transport and aircraft, procedures and protocols inside airports and aircraft, rules of conduct for airport, air and for passengers, as well as on informing staff and passengers, in order to prevent contamination of passengers and staff engaged in air transport, under the conditions established by joint order of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Internal Affairs.
Many will challenge these measures, but there is a need for more social peace, at least for the holidays. It is up to us to observe the measures of physical distance, to wear the mask and to take care to keep ourselves healthy. We remind you that the alert status in Romania will be extended by another 30 days.
