Wizz Air it is gaining more and more land on the Romanian market and has almost entered all the operational airports in our country. After announcing the new routes from Cluj and Târgu Mureş, the time has come for Craiova to join the low-cost operator network.
Negotiations have taken place since the beginning of this year, and the results are positive. From Craiova International Airport it will fly to destinations in Spain, Italy, England and Germany. The information was made public by CJ Dolj officials and confirmed for GdS by the representatives of Wizz Air.
The key factor in the negotiation was the financial aid that the European Commission will approve, and the airport in Craiova will subsidize the costs of the Wizz Air operator.
