Air France Pilot Strike: Flight forecast for 13 June

The Air France pilot strike will continue on 13 June 2016. 27% of the pilots of the French operator announced that they will be on strike during the period 11-14 June 2016. According to the press release issued by Air France, the flights will be operated in proportion of over 80%.

AF flights will be affected by June 14, when the strike is announced. Air France regrets the situation and makes efforts to minimize discomfort to passengers.

As of June 13, Air France has announced that it will operate approximately 85% of long-haul flights, over 85% of domestic flights and 70% of regional short and medium-haul flights. There may also be unforeseen situations, so it's a good idea to pay attention to the flight schedule, which will be constantly updated on the airline's website - airfrance.com.

The strike only affects Air France flights. Flights operated by Hop subsidiaries! and Transavia, but also by KLM, Delta and others operated in codeshare with other airline partners will not be affected.

For the period 11-14 June, over 7000 persons were mobilized to support passengers affected by the Air France pilot strike. Since June 9, 500 000 text messages have been sent to Air France passengers via the AF Connect service.

Several flights from / to Bucharest were affected. On June 12, the flights AF1588 / AF1589 on the Paris-Bucharest-Paris route were canceled.

On 13 June 2016, Air France canceled flights from / to Bucharest: AF1588 / AF1589 and AF1088!
