British Airways celebrated the first flight operated with the new A380, on the route London - Hong Kong

The models descended the A380 aircraft's staircase onto the British Airways presentation podium, specially arranged as a runway. Alice Temperley, who created dresses for celebrities such as Keira Knightly, Rihanna, Beyonce and Duchess of Cambridge, said: “I was thrilled when British Airways invited me to present my new 2014 Spring / Summer collection in Hong Kong, as part of a unique and spectacular event. Those who were there appreciated the unique design and bold design, very similar to British Airways' new A380 aircraft. ”

The fashion presentation was followed by a live concert offered exclusively by the artist awarded with several platinum discs, the former winner of the X-Factor competition, Leona lewis. Lewis performed his songs on a stage set at the same level as the 80 meter wing of the aircraft A380, on which two twin engines are located.

supermodel Georgia May Jagger, the daughter of legendary Rolling Stones member Mick Jagger, took the stage alongside Keith Williams, ending the evening with a special raffle, which awarded two British Airways tickets to London in the Club World (business) cabin of the new A380 , and accommodation at Langham London Hotel.

British Airways operates two daily flights between Hong Kong and London. The A380 aircraft will serve BA25 flights from London to Hong Kong and BA26 from Hong Kong to London.
