In the 2024 summer season, RYANAIR wants to transport 3.6 million passengers from/to Romanian airports! Ryanair will operate 44 routes from and to Romania this summer, of which 35 routes from and to Bucharest, where the company has two planes assigned to the base in Otopeni.

Currently, RYANAIR flies from three airports in Romania: Bucharest, Iasi and Cluj. It has 44 routes planned and hopes to carry 3.6 million passengers, 15% more than in 2023, writes zf.ro..

For the 2024 summer season, RYANAIR has 35 routes planned from its base in Bucharest, with some routes to be launched this year: Malaga, Skiathos, Leeds. From Cluj, RYANAIR flies to five European destinations, and from Iași it flies to four destinations. In addition to the new routes announced, RYANAIR is increasing the frequency on other routes from Bucharest (Milan, Dublin, Bologna, Pescara, Rome and Edinburgh) and Cluj (Milan, Paris, Dublin, Brussels).

For Iasi, RYANAIR has not announced new routes or frequency increases. According to the latest statements, RYANAIR accuses the airport of Iași for increasing airport taxes.
