An aircraft Embraer EMB 120 Brasilia, which belonged to the operator Inter-Islands Air, crashed in the Indian Ocean in the Comoros area on Tuesday. The plane was performing a charter flight on the route Grande Comore Island - Anjouan and had 29 people on board (25 passengers and 4 crew members). It took off from Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport, but quickly lost altitude and fell into the water shortly after takeoff.

The 29 people survived and reached the shore with the help of fishing vessels in the area. According to information published in the press, only the captain suffered some serious head injuries, otherwise the other passengers are without serious injuries.

It seems that the accident was caused by a massive fuel leak. The pilot noticed the problem and wanted to return to the airport, but unfortunately failed.

It's kind of awkward to do the fool in the air - well, no one has suffered.

It's not really up to the fool! It was probably a motor failure, a valve that was not closed properly…
