Emirates orders over 100 Boeing aircraft, 777X and 787 Dreamliner models!

Emirates has announced an impressive deal with Boeing for new aircraft to power the next era of its operations. Emirates is committed to buying 90 Boeing 777x family aircraft, the order will include 55 777-9 aircraft and 35 777-8 aircraft. Emirates is strengthening its relationship with Boeing as a key supplier of the company's future fleet.

Emirates orders 90 777X aircraft

Boeing 777-9s, as part of this agreement, are expected to enter operational service starting in 2025. Boeing hopes that by 2025, the new 777-9 will be certified after long delays.

Meanwhile, deliveries of the 777-8 are expected to begin from 2030, with this variant to be produced. Currently, Boeing's focus is on the new 777-9.

For Boeing, the order placed by Emirates for the 90 777X aircraft is a crucial one to boost the program. The American plane maker admits that interest in the new generation of triple seven jets has waned because of the delays.

Emirates orders 35 787 Dreamliners

In addition to the impressive order of Boeing 777x aircraft, Emirates has also opted for 35 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, 15 x 787-10 and 20 x 787-8.

Emirates is also turning its attention to the new 787-10 model, with an older order of 30 787-9s to be transformed into an order of 20 787-8s and 10 787-10s.

Boeing's relationship with Emirates dates back to the first 777 order placed in 1992. Today, Emirates has nearly 150 777s in its fleet. Based on the most successful biplane ever, the 777, the 777X family is designed to maximize efficiency and performance by 25 percent while providing an exceptional onboard experience.
