Adria Airways has relaunched the Ljubljana - Paris route

Adria Airways, the national air operator of Slovenia, has reopened the route Ljubljana - Paris, from April 11th. It is operated daily with Bombardier CRJ2LR aircraft. The aircraft is configured in a single class and can carry up to 900 passengers.

The service is honored with two weekly flights, Tuesday and Sunday, according to the following schedule. One day, the aircraft takes off from Ljubljana at 18:05 and will arrive in Paris at 20:00, and another day it will fly in the morning, taking off from Slovenia at 8:15 and landing in Paris at 10:10. Return flights are between 20:45 - 22:35 and 11:10 - 13:00. On this route, Adria Airways has a direct competitor on the Air France operator.

Star Alliance member Adria Airways operates 176 flights / week to 17 destinations, departing from Ljubljana: Frankfurt (4 flights / day), Munich (3), Zurich (3), Vienna (2), Brussels (13 flights / week), Skopje (11), Tirana (10), Moscow (8) ), Istanbul (7), Pristina (7), Amsterdam (6), Belgrade (5), Sarajevo (5), Copenhagen (4), Podgorica (3), Manchester (2) and Split (1). Adria Airways also operates from Pristina to Frankfurt and Munich.

Adria Airways is one of the few remaining state-owned airlines. It went through a difficult process of restructuring and efficiency. Several unprofitable routes were closed and employees were laid off. He currently owns a fleet of 12 aircraft and flies to 17 destinations.

In 2012, Adria Airways carried 987 000 of passengers, with 15% less than 2011, but with a loading grade of 67.5%, with 4.2 higher percentages.
