Boeing delivered the first 737-900ER to Delta Air Lines
On September 30 2013, Boeing delivered the first 737-900ER to Delta Air Lines. This is part of a single-aisle 100 order that the US carrier placed in the 2011. Delta has begun to implement a comprehensive fleet modernization program.
Boeing 737-900ER Delta Air Lines has 180 seating capacity and comes equipped with Boeing Sky interior. 737-900ER is the newest member of the 737 Next Generation family. It can carry up to 215 passengers in one class, up to a maximum distance of 6000 km and has the lowest operating cost / seat. The new 737-900ER will integrate well into the Delta Air Lines fleet, based on market demand and the company's economic level.
