Boeing and ILFC deliver the first 787 Dreamliner to Aeromexico (photo / video)
As we anticipated yesterday, Aeromexico will be in possession of the first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The delivery ceremony took place at the Boeing base in Everett, Washington, and the plane took off for "home". In a few hours, the aircraft 787 Dreamliner Aeromexico (N961AM) will land at Mexico City's Benito Juárez International Airport. At this moment, the plane flies at an altitude of 12 489 meters and has a speed of 900 km / h.
This is the first 787-8 Dreamliner from an order of 9 units, 5 leased from ILFC (International Lease Finance Corporation) and 4 ordered directly from Boeing. It is configured in two classes: 32 seats in Premier Class and 211 seats in Economy Class. In a few years, Aeromexico will operate a total of 19 Dreamliner aircraft, including 10 787-9 units ordered last year.
Below are pictures from the teaching ceremony.
